Kiran is a certified yoga teacher, Reiki Master, Nutritionist and massage therapist, first learning the art in India with family and certifying with a Diploma at The State Council of Education Research & Training in Delhi. She has also the following qualifications:

• High Honours Yoga Teachers Diploma studying with the Aura Wellness Centre.

• The highest grade Diploma in Nutrition and Advanced Nutrition studying at the School of Natural Health Science

• Diploma in Holistic massage

She has also studied at the Reiki Blessings Academy and is a Usui Reiki Master Teacher. She has studied many different styles of Yoga and plans to add music therapy into her teaching in the near future.

Her spiritual journey began at a very young age leading her to take up the practise of yoga. She has been teaching for 9 years but practising Yoga for most her adult life. Her students vary from, kick boxers, Kung Fu students, cricketers, footballers, tennis players, golfers, wind surfers, rowers also teenagers, over 50’s, young children, corporate clients and the everyday men and women.

She enjoys connecting with the essence of everything and everyone around her and assists in people gaining that awareness. She encourages the awareness of infinite love, the release of tensions held in the bodies and to simply…let go.

HER TEACHING

Her teaching combines Hatha and Sivananda yoga and the Pilates sequence with Reiki healing and massage. The gentle postures limber up the body and improve circulation of blood and nutrients stimulating the organs. The breath control eliminates the trapped stale breath and brings in the fresh oxygen energising the body and calming the mind. Her classes vary depending on the students keeping it either simple or more intense or based more on specific needs.

Yoga and meditation enhance the practitioners awareness of the here and now and to remove the attention of the self from the thoughts. Helping to just be and live in the moment and not to associate with the illusion of the past and future. The understanding gained from the class will take over into your general daily life until it becomes second nature to support the body with correct breathing, relaxation and internal strength and it’s something you do without even thinking.

During the practise the body is strengthened, stretched and rejuvenated and the mind becomes quite and content.
